Can We Talk?…About Your Healthcare Wishes
New Program for Westchester Synagogues
Most of us have a will for our financial planning, however, many of us don’t plan in advance to make sure our healthcare wishes are honored. The Live With Care team developed Can We Talk? workshops to help Westchester’s Jewish congregants explore what matters most to them about their future healthcare wishes, and how to comfortably communicate these wishes.
Can We Talk? workshops will be coming to your synagogue during the next year. Check our website for information.
Can We Talk? is a project of Westchester End-of-Life Coalition (WELC), facilitated by the wonderful Partners In Caring social workers from Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), and made possible with generous support from Plaza Jewish Community Chapel.
Can We Talk? resources about getting the conversation started (with family, friends, rabbi and physician) and for understanding the Jewish perspective on end-of-life decisions.
Live With Care resources about advance care planning.
